Advocacy

As the foremost body recognising the 160+ job titles of Administrative Professionals within Australia, the AAAs actively undertake advocacy to inspire action and motivate change in our profession.

Our advocacy for the administrative profession is founded on our pillars of Research and Education and strengthened by the active involvement of the coalition of industry leaders that form our board. Our advocacy work focuses on broadening the lens that defines administrative functions and reducing the outdated stigmas surrounding the roles within it.

The goal of our advocacy is to effectively represent the diversity of our profession and have their voices heard on issues that are important to the growth and future of our industry. We develop groups and host forums to actively work together and solve problems for our profession that address the needs and priorities of our community.

The AAAs actively undertake advocacy work by engaging with all levels of government, HR leaders and recruitment organisations and the public and private sectors, to advance their understanding of the significant impact of administrative roles within Australia. The AAAs will continually work with these segments to influence policy, transform the narrative, and develop strategies that support change and advance our profession.
