  • Yes, you can enter more than one category. The cost per category is $99AUD.

  • Yes, you can nominate yourself. If you self-nominate, during the qualifying questions you will be asked to provide details of your manager or executive who can validate your submission.

    If someone else nominates you then they will be asked some questions about you and your achievements.

  • Nominations open on Monday 1st August 2022. Once the nominations open you can nominate via the ‘nomination’ portal.

    After your submission information and payment have been made you will be emailed with your full entry requirements. This will include providing further details relevant to the Award Category you have entered.

  • You will be sent an email confirmation and nominee badge which can be shared within your organisation, your community and on your social media platforms.

  • Entries close at midnight on Friday 8th September 2023 Australian Eastern Stand time. Please note, no late entries will be accepted.

  • The AAAs Award Ceremony will be a celebration of all entrants to the awards.

    Anyone is able to attend the awards in Sydney and ticket information will be available on the ticketing platform.

  • Entrance into each award category is $99 AUD.

  • Winners in each category will be announced LIVE on the 8th November 2023 at the AAAs Award Ceremony to be held in Sydney. Keep an eye out for the announcement of full details for this event.

  • Finalists will be advised via email on 15th September 2023 and will move to the next round of judging with our panel of independent judges.

    This will be a 15-20 minute interview via Google Meet or similar platform.

    The Admire Award category is determined by public vote; therefore it is excluded from the Judge’s interview round and will open to public voting from the 16th September to 13th October 2023

  • The AAAs recognises excellence in the Administrative Profession and is open to all individuals who reside in Australia and who have held the position for a minimum of 12 months.

    Application for the AAAs must be submitted online through our website and submission forms. Hard copies will not be accepted.

    To begin the process, you will be required to follow our step by step procedure, completing the relevant information necessary for entry to the Awards as provided on the website; either by being nominated or a self-nomination.

    Amendments cannot be made once an entry has been submitted. If the Entrant has any concerns regarding the information submitted, they should contact info@australianassemblyofadminitsrators.com

    The Organiser does not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, damaged or delayed due to technical errors. For the avoidance of doubt, proof of transmission of a lost or delayed entry for the Awards will not be accepted as a valid or alternative entry. The Organiser will email a receipt of all successfully registered entries.

    Entrants shall follow the criteria requirements for each category as outlined on the online entry form when applying for the AAAs Awards.

    Entrants are only permitted to enter a category once, but each Entrant may enter into as many categories as they choose, provided that they meet the criteria for that category. A $99AUD per category charge will apply.

    It is the Entrant’s responsibility to ensure that they satisfy all entry requirements for the relevant category before submitting their entry into the Awards, any failure to do so will result in the entry being refused.

    The Organiser reserves the right to audit any information supplied and automatically disqualify any entries from the Awards that include false or misleading information.

    Entries must be submitted by midnight (Australian time) on the closing date; 8th September 2023. Any Entries received after this time will not be entered into the Awards.

    Once a nomination or self-nomination has been received you will receive a confirmation email and receipt of payment. The email will also include the full details required to complete your entry into the AAAs.

    If you self-nominate, your application must be validated by a Manager or Executive. Validation of your entry by your Manager or Executive must be completed prior to you receiving the entry details required to finalize your submission.

    Capacity Catalyst

    Executive Excellence

    Culture Optimiser

    Agility Connector

    Admire Award

    Categories 1 – 7 shall be judged by the panel of Judges in accordance with the information below and category 8 shall be put forward to a public vote.

    2023 JUDGING

    By entering the AAAs Awards, the Entrants agree to allow the details of their entry to be shared with the Judges, and the Organiser. All entry information is held in confidence.

    Names and biographies of the Judges will be made available to the public on the website.

    The Organiser will organize, select and manage the Judges, which will be instructed to act without bias.

    The Judges will declare any conflict of interests to the Organisers ahead of reading any entries.

    All judging discussions are confidential and will not be shared or discussed with anyone outside the Judging Panels ahead of the AAA Award Ceremony or thereafter.

    The Judges’ decision is final. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into, or feedback will be given regarding the selection of Award Finalists or Award Winners and there shall be no appeal process.

    The Judges will be allocated to a category and review all applications and provide a shortlist of finalists for that category.

    Once the finalists have been decided, the Organiser will review and send confirmation via email to the finalists and share their information on the website.

    The judges will receive confirmation of the finalists and all their entry submission details.

    Finalists will be emailed details of the interview time, suggested questions that may be asked & the link to attend their interview via Google Meet (or similar platform) on a specific date.

    The public can vote for the Admire Award by the live link after public voting opens.

    The public voting will open on 16th September to 13th October 2023.

    The public can vote a maximum of one time from the same email address.

    The Organiser reserves the right in its sole discretion to dismiss votes for any Entrant if these appear to be fraudulent or attempting to affect the fairness of the outcome of the Awards.

    In the event of a tie in the number of votes cast for the Admire Award, the Winner will be decided by the Judges.

    The Award Winners will be notified at the Award Ceremony or by any other means e.g., virtually if it is necessary.

    There will be one Award Winner in each category.
